Finishing
For specialist applications where both high corrosion protection
and areas of electrical conductivity are required on the same
component we offer a dual finishing service (also known as
selective anodising). The service is available for a combination
of alocrom, sulphuric acid anodising and hard anodising coatings.
Selective treatment of different areas of a component is achieved
by a masking process which is typically applied to specific
holes or earthing points.
Due
to the entirely manual nature of the masking process and the
need to treat components in several finishing lines, lead
times for dual finished products are typically 5 to 7 working
days but may be longer for larger batches. Please contact
us to discuss lead times for individual jobs.
