We are pleased to confirm that Metro Plating has remained opened for business so far throughout the Covid-19 related restrictions. It is our intention to continue to operate on a 'business as usual' basis subject to any further Government announcements. The health & safety of our staff remains paramount during these difficult times & we have implemented a range of measures to ensure that we can continue to operate within the Government guidelines for social distancing & related requirements for levels of hygiene.
We have protected our vulnerable staff & those with caring responsibilities by placing these workers on Furlough Leave. Some of our administrative & accounts team are working from home via remote link wherever possible. This means that we are operating with around 60% of our normal staffing levels.
We have made some changes to our long established delivery & collection arrangements to enable us to continue to service our key customers at least twice a week with a reduced fleet of vans on the road.
We are very proud to confirm that we are processing work for several supply chains of critical ventilator parts urgently required to support the NHS Frontline. We are also involved in the supply chains for other key medical equipment including testing kits, medical research equipment & other diagnostic equipment. We remain focussed on prioritising this work to ensure that we are doing everything we can to help fight the virus & save as many lives as possible.
If you have any urgent requirements for processing aluminium parts for any key critical medical applications then please contact our sales team by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
