For specialist finishes incorporating matting down colours, removing surface machine lines and to ensure a complete uniform anodising finish, we are able to perform pre-anodic glass bead blasting, this is a smearing process in which glass is propelled onto the surface of the component at high pressure, the abrasive action will produce a smooth even finish.
Over the last 2 years we have invested heavily on increasing capacity, we now have 3 complete new machines modernising our technical ability incorporating efficiency by re-circulating media but also ensuring a consistent repeat process.
We currently use 4 different bead sizes:
Pressure ranges will be either dictated by specification or by us where we produce the correct finish for your requirements.
